A contentious issue, California immigration, specifically illegal California immigration, poses a number of economic, political, and cultural challenges to the golden state. Often, the debate becomes a partisan-fueled, highly emotional diatribe between the two major parties. While incessant bickering dominates the landscape, reasoned, objective arguments and alternative solutions are not sufficiently explored. Independent voters are seeking potential solutions that obey the rule of law, stay within the confines of a balanced budget, and maintain a compassionate, but realistic outlook on California immigration.
